Golden Steer Steakhouse Las Vegas

Classic, historical, Vegas steakhouse. The cesar salad was the best I've ever had. Filet was perfectly cooked and had a nice char but was still medium rare. I can't wait to come back on my next trip.

One of the best steakhouses I’ve been too (I have a good amount I’ve been to around the nation) Service, hospitality was 10/10 To start: -Caesar salad is phenomenal (made in front of you) and one of the best salads I’ve ever had. -24oz Ribeye (Medium) with maltre d’butter Phenomenal flavor and super tender -HUGE lobster tail, wasn’t super tender but was huge and was good! -Mac and chz was delicious, I would suggest normal (not with beef) one with beef tasted like beef stroganoff. -cheesecake was good, softer and fluffy (not thick) We tried a few options of steak and they all were tender and lots of flavor.

Came here to celebrate my partner and I's birthday vacation. We made the appointment two months in advance. The aura is so authentic. Very old school Vegas. The ceasars salad was a good starter. Then, the food kept getting better. Definitely coming back next time Food: . Wonderful steak cooked w excellent seasons. A juicy succulent lobster tail with butter/lemon on the side. Delicious twice baked potatoes, ceasars salad (my fav), and beautiful chocolate bday cake. Service: . Perfect. Impeccably timed service. Atmoosjer: the best authentic dining experience Vegas.

Having heard about Golden Steer since moving to Henderson NV in '23, we made reservations and looked forward to the experience. Little did we know it would be QUITE an experience. We arrived at 1545 for our 1630 reservation and were #8 or 9 in line. Everyone lines up before the door opens as many folks don't have reservations and being early is the best shot at a bar table or high top. While waiting, the gentleman in front of us fainted. He got right back up and everyone around him showed concern and sadly, he fainted again. The other folks and his friend grabbed him and started giving him water. My wife went to the front door and started knocking hard. It was 20 minutes before service started, so she had to knock hard as the Staff was prepping for service. The Staff opened the door, were made aware of the situation and jumped into action. They took him inside and gave him assistance. Within minutes, an ambulance was onsite to provide first aid. A member of the Staff was nice enough to come advise us he was fine and stayed to enjoy his dinner. The Staff was nice enough to provide my wife with a great dessert. To us, the Golden Steer has earned 5 stars and we haven't gotten to the food yet.... We requested a seat at the bar (our preference) and that was no problem. The Bar Staff (Leeann, Phil, Alejandro and Isaiah) greeted us warmly and took our initial cocktail orders. Their old fashioned is legendary so that was my choice. The Mrs. went with the spicy margarita. Both were recommended by Phil and were excellent. Leeann assisted us with our appetizer/entree selections. We always ask for suggestions because these folks know that menu! After going through a few "this vs. that" discussions, we decided on the meatballs for an app, the prime rib for me and the filet for the Mrs. The meatballs were amazing. Leeann advised the butchers use steak trimmings and you could taste the difference. The sauce was excellent. The entrees came right on time and wow - the prime rib was very flavorful and delicious. The filet was beautiful, so tender and the Mrs. did not offer me one bite! The sides (twice baked potatoes & Brussels sprouts) were also excellent. The Bar Staff kept checking on us and made sure everything was perfect. When you watch a Staff of this caliber work the bar and the floor, it's like a ballet. Our plates were delivered with a certain flare that only a Team that has worked together for years can perform. Every time our water glasses needed filled, someone was right there. When you finished an item, the empty plate disappeared. When we mentioned how great the meatball sauce was, 2 other Staff members told us it was their favorite. Every Staff member we spoke to were warm & friendly. Personally, we wish we could enter 2 reviews - one for how the Staff handled an urgent situation and one for the meal. Both would be 5 stars! I visited this establishment to celebrate my wife and my anniversary. I chose this place based on a friend's enthusiastic recommendation, so I made a reservation approximately six months in advance. I must say, the host at the entrance was exceptionally pleasant and escorted us to a booth that was incredibly beautiful inside. We began our meal with the finest Caesar salad I have ever tasted. I thought to myself that if the meal started off this well, the food must be outstanding, and I can assure you, it did not disappoint. The steak was incredibly tender and delicious, and I must emphasize the importance of the butter. The prime mac and cheese was extraordinary, and the twice-baked potato was equally delightful. If you order the cherry jubilee, you will be treated to a wonderful presentation. I will certainly return to GOLDEN STEER.

My husband and I had heard amazing things about the Golden Steer Steakhouse, so we tried to make a reservation a few weeks before our Vegas trip—only to find out they book up months in advance! Luckily, thanks to an OpenTable alert, we snagged a last-minute spot, and it was absolutely worth it. The service and food were outstanding. The tableside Caesar salad was the best we’ve ever had, and our shared porterhouse for two was cooked to perfection. Every side—mac & cheese, sherry cream mushrooms, and the twice-baked potato—was delicious. We finished with the Bananas Foster, also prepared tableside, and it was the perfect finale. We’ll definitely be back!

This restaurant is seriously amazing!! I went for work last week with a group and we were in the Mob Room! Definitely one of my coolest restaurant experiences ever. The Caesar's Salad is absolutely amazing. I got a filet for dinner and the spices that they use taste great!! I didn't even need steak sauce, which is a rare occurrence for me! If you get a dessert, you have to get the cherry jubilee. It's one of the best desserts that I have had in quite some time. I could spend all day raving about this restaurant. I want to revisit when I'm back in Vegas! If you have a larger group, the Mob Room is very private and the service was fantastic. Highly recommend!!
